Town of Cicero Town Hall and Police Dept., Cicero, IL

zpd+a provided site, shell and core architectural design services, including interior design, FF&E and signage design services, for the four-building Municipal Complex for the Town of Cicero, Illinois.

The three-story, 72,000 sq. ft. Town Hall consolidates town services, improving overall efficiency for both the town and the people of Cicero. Aesthetically, the building references the area's architectural character and promotes transparency between the people of Cicero and the government that serves them. The floorplate of the building was designed to be flexible and accommodate future change. The two-story, 55,000 sq. ft. Police Department is a state-of-the-art facility that provides Cicero police officers with a secure and efficient building, expanding the possibilities of officer training by providing amenities such as a fully functional gun range.
