Experience
Repeat business from blue-chip clients is the hallmark of Jim’s decades-long career, beginning with a multitude of adaptive re-use and renovation projects, then expanding out to include interior buildouts and tenant improvements to new construction on a variety of building types. His experience is extensive, including a variety of projects for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois; BCBS nationwide; the former Uptown National Bank, the Adaptive Re-Use of Soldier Field; Loft Development Corporation: 641 W. Lake Street; The Henderson Company: Ludwig Drum; Stein & Company: Arbor Lake Center; and United Development: and 1400 Lake Shore Drive & 1216 N. Astor Street. Throughout his career, Jim has overseen the development, renovation and reorganization of more than 3,000,000 square feet of new office space, including the development of a multi-phased 1.3 million square foot, vertical expansion high rise for BlueCross BlueShield located at 300 E Randolph in Chicago. Other banner projects include new Headquarters Buildings in Chicago, Richardson, Texas and Albuquerque New Mexico, as well as customer service centers and corporate office interiors for Health Care Service Corporation throughout Illinois, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Montana and New Mexico.
